A BAFTA-winning track record
I won my BAFTA for The Silent Witness - an Investigation into the Shroud of Turin. It triggered a career producing, writing and directing over 100 films and network programmes for BBC and ITV. I now make bespoke films for corporate and private clients as well as broadcast projects when a good subject and access coincide. I continued my interest in the Shroud with a new film with Rageh Omaar for the BBC in 2008 and then in 2010 with one for the Archdiocese of Turin to mark a special exhibition. My work on this subject can be seen at www.shroud-enigma. This site endeavours to merge video and the web to allow a personal exploration of a complex subject.
The first film below is a brief showreel of corporate commissions and features some 2 and 3D graphic work. The second was made recently for composer, Mike Sheppard, whose music I have used to powerful effect. This short film is an example of how unobtrusive digital equipment allows a filmmaker to be. The third was filmed over a year to demonstrate some remarkable engineering ingenuity and used extensive 3D graphic animation.
